Last Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Megan + Greg’s wedding!

They decided to have their first look in Sugarloaf, NY, overlooking beautiful mountains.  It was a rainy day, but these two were so wonderful and fully embraced the rain with fun umbrellas for the whole bridal party.  Watching Greg see his gorgeous bride for the first time was so special, and you could feel the love and joy radiating from them.

Their ceremony and reception was held in Warwick, NY, and the amount of time and effort that went into the details was truly amazing.  Every sign was hand written in calligraphy, by Megan.  All the signs themselves were crafted by Greg.  The entire wedding was so Pintrest-worthy!  They had thought of EVERYTHING.  When guests first walked into the reception, they had a station set up for them to find and take their name card (written in calligraphy, of course) and then snap a polaroid photo selfie and replace the card with their photo.  It was so creative!  So by the end of the night, they had a string of photos of all their guests.

Another awesome and creative idea?  They had Jenga blocks for people to write notes and sign their names.  The sign said, “Build Memories” and guests could stack their signed blocks.  Again, by the end of the night, they had a tower of blocks full of memories!  Other fun details included a selfie station with fun props, as well as hand crafted cornhole boards that were build by Greg and decorated by Megan.  These two really put amazing thought into everything, and the end result was incredible.

Details aside, the entire day was filled with so much emotion.  The toasts were incredibly moving, and when Megan’s father stood up from his wheelchair to dance with his daughter, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.  The dance floor was filled the whole evening, and everyone had such a blast; myself included!  I had so much fun acting as a second shooter to Lauren (check her out @Lauren Teresa Photography!) especially as we snapped some fun photos at the selfie station!

Here are some of the photos I took of the day, and check out Lauren’s page to see her amazing shots!
