Congratulations to Kate + Rich on their wedding!

I had the pleasure of meeting this awesome couple through my sister.  She introduced me to them a little over a year ago, and they are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet.  They are so perfect together – you can tell that they are the kind of couple that truly enjoys hanging out with each other and having fun.  They are so incredibly laid back, as well.  I don’t think there is a high maintenance bone in Kate’s body!  Of course they wanted their wedding day to run smoothly, but not at the expense of them enjoying the day and celebrating their love for each other.  The whole day was filled with joy, laughter, and love.

When they were expecting their son last year, I was honored to capture maternity photos for them.  I was just starting out in my photography business, yet they trusted me to capture such a special time in their lives.  We had so much fun wandering around a cute park near their home.  It drizzled a bit, but it never dampened their fun, positive attitudes.  Then, once adorable Quint was born, they once again entrusted me to take newborn photos for them.  You can totally tell Quint is their baby – he is so laid back and pleasant, just like the two of them!

Seeing them almost 9 months later on their wedding day was awesome.  Quint has gotten SO BIG, and he is ridiculously adorable.  I had to stop myself from taking millions of photos of just him!  The love that they have for him just radiates.  They light up when they are with him.  It was such a special moment as they walked down the aisle as husband and wife towards him. It was just one of the many times that day where I cried.

Their wedding was absolutely gorgeous.  The flowers had soft blues that matched the sky & ocean (not to mention they all have the most gorgeous baby blue eyes!)  Kate wore a stunning gown, and I was totally obsessed with the way she had some bling woven into her hair.  The bridesmaids wore long, flowy, baby blue dresses, and Quint had the cutest little suit and pink tie you’d ever see.  Kate’s flower girl was so sweet, and a ton of fun.  She loved posing for the camera, and totally rocked the dance floor at the reception!

The reception was held at Buckalew’s, which was just around the corner from where they had their ceremony.  It was such a blast!  Everyone piled on the dance floor and had so much fun.  I loved being a part of their big day, and here is just a small snapshot!
