My little baby turned 3!  Except, Andy’s not a baby anymore.  I can’t believe how fast time has gone by!  It seems like just yesterday that I was holding this squishy 9lbs 1oz chunky newborn in the hospital, and now he’s a curious big kid with tons of thoughts, questions, opinions on everything.

Andy is such a wonderful son.  Every day we say how lucky we are to have such a sweet, caring, silly, determined, & hilarious little guy.  He’s an amazing big brother to Matty – he sings to him when he starts crying, he makes him laugh, he tickles his feet, he talks to him in the car to keep him happy… the list goes on.  He’s so funny.  He makes us laugh every day with his crazy stories, funny expressions, silly faces, and more.

He loves ice cream with rainbow sprinkles, hugging our cats, watermelon, bubbles, playing doctor, musical instruments, going for walks, coloring, playing in the pool, and jumping on the trampoline.  Anytime he is outside, he is so happy.  He hates bathtime, bedtime, and sitting down to eat dinner (he just wants to RUN!).  He’s a little sponge, and he blows us away with the things he remembers.

The day he was born, our lives changed forever for the better.  We became parents.  We still don’t have this parenting thing down, but we tell him every day how much we love him, shower him with hugs and kisses, and snuggle him every chance that he lets us because I know one day he won’t want to anymore.

For his 3rd birthday we had a small family party to celebrate.  It was monster themed, because I like to (lovingly) call him my little monster 🙂  The weather called for thunderstorms all day, but instead we got a gorgeous, sunny day, and enjoyed playing in the pool for 90% of it!  Here are some photos of my big kid & his birthday party!

Love you, Andy.  So proud of the little guy you’re turning into.
