It has been WAY too long since I’ve done a Mom Life Monday post!  So here’s a little snapshot into what’s been going on recently!

This past weekend was GORGEOUS.  Saturday was 70 degrees.  Our whole household has been feeling under the weather.  It seems like every other week during this pregnancy I have a new cold – either the kids are infecting me with their germs from school, or I am infecting them (that was the case this past week!).  So with the amazing weather, it was definitely time to get out of the house and get some fresh air.

I always look forward to April – not only does it mean some fresh spring air and finally warmer weather, but I absolutely love when all the cherry blossoms start blooming.  They are so beautiful, and it’s hard to be in a bad mood when you’re walking around a park covered in pretty pink and white flowers.  The kids love them too!  We took a trip to Branch Brook Park on Saturday to check them out.

Everyone knows I love Branch Brook Park.  I love shooting there during cherry blossom season (see here; and here), and with over 5000 cherry blossom trees it really is an amazing sight to behold.  Not all the trees were in bloom on Saturday – the park has something like 12 different varieties of cherry blossoms that all bloom at their own pace – but there were definitely a bunch of pink ones that had fully bloomed and the kids loved them.

Andy and Matty ran around the park to get some energy out, while I forced them into some sibling photos.  Of course.  I wasn’t going to bring them there without making sure I snapped a few!  We are getting some family/maternity photos taken there next week, so it was also a great chance to try out some outfits on them.  Andy is really excited for the baby.  He is dead set on the name Charlie, so if we end up not naming the baby Charlie I think we will be dealing with some severe disappointment!  Of course his other suggestions (Daddy Miller, Mr. Grouper, and Catboy) haven’t been a huge hit.

Here are some photos of the boys from Saturday!
